Water Song is a casual restaurant serving the traditional and unique cuisine of the Yunnan province in Southwestern China. The scope of this project included logo design and full brand development, including restaurant design.
Branding for Water Song is a mix of bold and intricate, utilizing clean, modern design sensibilities with the rich style of traditional Chinese art styles. A vibrant color palette and clean typography mix with the ornate art of ancient China through Water Song’s advertisements and menus, and extends into the design elements of the restaurant interior.
Custom designed wall features are showcased throughout the interior dining space, including routed panels featuring Chinese characters and patterns.
